The Tail in the Tale – Interactive Performance Storytelling

Western knowledge production mostly relies on academic discourse and factual knowledge. But in the history of mankind, stories always have given us the wisdom to understand situations from different points of view. Using traditional wisdom tales, Wangari Grace will take you on a journey to meet characters who, through their actions, changed the lives of their communities for the better. Whether it is by promoting harmonious living in the face of conflict, or providing a voice for those who cannot shout as loud. Using rhythm, song, call and response, the session is designed to be interactive for both the storyteller and the audience.
